2024 ഫെബ്രുവരിയിൽ, അന്തരിച്ച ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കവിയും, നടനും, എഴുത്തുകാരനുമായ ബെഞ്ചമിൻ സെഫനായിയുടെ സ്മരണാഞ്ജലിയിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സാഹിത്യ സംഭാനകളെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ 'റെഫ്യൂജി ബോയ് ' എന്ന നോവലിനെപ്പറ്റി വിശദമായ ചർച്ച ഉണ്ടായി. ലോകോത്തര സിനിമകളായ പഥേർ പാഞ്ചാലി, ബൈസിക്കിൾ തീവ്സ് എന്നിവയെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിശദമായ ചർച്ചകൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. ചിത്രങ്ങളിലെ ക്ലിപ്പിംഗുകൾ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചത് ചർച്ചകൾക്കു കൂടുതൽ കരുത്തേകി.
ചെണ്ട വായനയിൽ അഗ്രഗണ്യനായ മട്ടന്നൂർ ശങ്കരൻകുട്ടി മാരാർ, തന്റെ സംഘത്തോടൊപ്പം പ്രദർശനപ്രകടനം നടത്തി. വിവിധതരം ചെണ്ടമേളങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും, അതിനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഉപകരണങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും, മേളങ്ങൾ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രധാന ഉത്സവങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റിയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിപരിചയത്തെപ്പറ്റിയും വിശദമായ ചർച്ച ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
2024 നവംബർ 2 മുതൽ 3 വരെ മലയാളോത്സവം (Festival of Malayalam) കൊണ്ടാടി. പ്രശസ്ത സാഹിത്യകാരനായ ബെന്യാമിൻ മുഖ്യാതിഥി ആയിരുന്നു. യു കെ യിലെ മലയാളം എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ മൂന്നാം ദേശീയ സമ്മേളനം, മലയാളി കലാപ്രവർത്തകരുടെ ചിത്രകലാ പ്രദർശനം, യു കെ മലയാളം എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ പുസ്തക പ്രദർശനം എന്നിവ ഇതോടൊപ്പം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഡിസംബറിൽ പ്രശസ്ത ചിത്രകാരിയായ നിർമലാ മേനോന്റെ ചിത്രകലാ പ്രദർശനവും, ചർച്ചയും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു.
2024 നവംബർ മുതൽ 'Thursday Coffee Club @ zoom' എന്ന ശീർഷകത്തിൽ ഓൺലൈൻ ആയി സാഹിത്യ ചർച്ചകൾ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഇത് ഒന്നിടവിട്ടുള്ള വ്യാഴാഴ്ചകളിൽ വൈകിട്ട് 7 മണിമുതൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
A tribute was held to honor the late British poet, actor, and writer Benjamin Zephaniah, who passed away in December 2023. The event introduced his literary contributions, including a detailed discussion of his novel 'Refugee Boy'. In-depth discussions were also held about world-renowned films like Pather Panchali and Bicycle Thieves. Clips from these films were showcased, adding strength to the discussions.
Matannoor Shankaran Kutty Marar, a distinguished figure in chenda (traditional Kerala percussion), along with his group, conducted a performance presentation. There was a detailed discussion about various types of chenda ensembles, the instruments used in them, the main festivals where these performances are held, and his own professional experiences.
From November 2 to 3, 2024, the Festival of Malayalam (Malayalotsavam) was celebrated, with renowned writer Benyamin as the chief guest. The event included the third National Conference of Malayali writers in the UK, a visual arts exhibition by Malayali artists, and a book exhibition by UK-based Malayalam writers. In December, a painting exhibition and discussion by the famous artist Nirmala Menon was also organized.
From November 2024, online literary discussions began under the title 'Thursday Coffee Club @ zoom'. These are held on alternate Thursdays from 7 PM onwards.

യുകെ-യിലെ മലയാളം എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ ആദ്യസംഗമം MAUKയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനമായ ലണ്ടനിലെ കേരളാഹൗസിൽവച്ചു 2017 ൽ നടത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. അതേത്തുടർന്നു 2019 ൽ വീണ്ടും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച സംഗമത്തിനു ശേഷം അനേകം മലയാളി എഴുത്തുകാർ ഈ രാജ്യത്ത് എത്തപ്പെടുകയും, ധാരാളം പുതിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ യുകെ മലയാളികളുടേതായി പുറത്തുവരികയും ചെയ്തു. എഴുത്തുകാർ തമ്മിൽ പരിചയപ്പെടാനും, അവരുടെ പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്താനും വീണ്ടും ഒരു സംഗമം ആവശ്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ, അതിനുള്ള വേദി 2024 നവംബർ 2, 3 തീയതികളിലായി ലണ്ടനിലെ കേരളാഹൗസിൽ 'മലയാളോത്സവം 2024' എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരുക്കുന്നു. പുസ്തക പ്രദർശനം, പുസ്തക വില്പന, കലാ പ്രദർശനം, കവിതാലാപനം, എന്നിവ ഈ പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
