നിത്യവസന്തമായ രചനകൾകൊണ്ട് മലയാള ഭാഷയെ സമ്പുഷ്ടമാക്കിയ എം ടി വാസുദേവൻ നായർക്ക് സ്മരണാഞ്ജലി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തും, നോവലിസ്റ്റും, തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും, സിനിമാ സംവിധായകനും, മാതൃഭൂമി ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പിന്റെ ചീഫ് എഡിറ്ററും ആയി പരന്നുകിടക്കുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സാഹിത്യ സാംസ്കാരിക സംഭാവനകളെ ആദരപൂർവ്വം സ്മരിക്കുന്നു. ജനുവരി 5, ഞായറാഴ്ച വൈകിട്ട് 4 മണിയ്ക്ക് കേരളാ ഹൗസിൽ ഏവരും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുസ്തകങ്ങളുമായി എത്തിച്ചേരാൻ അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. ആ തൂലികയിൽ നിന്നും അടർന്നുവീണ വരികൾ വായിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നമുക്കദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്മരിക്കാം. നമുക്കിഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അനശ്വര കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവിടെ പുനരവതരിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുള്ള കൃതജ്ഞത നമുക്ക് അർപ്പിക്കാം.

നിത്യവസന്തമായ രചനകൾകൊണ്ട് മലയാള ഭാഷയെ സമ്പുഷ്ടമാക്കിയ എം ടി വാസുദേവൻ നായർക്ക് സ്മരണാഞ്ജലി അർപ്പിക്കാൻ കേരളാ ഹൗസിൽ 2025 ജനുവരി 5ന് ഒരുക്കിയ ചടങ്ങിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വിവിധ രചനകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങൾ സിജി, മിഥുൻ പട്ടേൽ, സുധ എന്നിവർ പാരായണം ചെയ്തു. എം ടി എഴുതിയ ഒരേ ഒരു നാടകമായ "ഗോപുരനടയിൽ" നിന്നുള്ള ഭാഗങ്ങൾ ശശി കുളമട വായിച്ചു. ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തും, നോവലിസ്റ്റും, തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും, സിനിമാ സംവിധായകനും, മാതൃഭൂമി ആഴ്ചപ്പതിപ്പിന്റെ ചീഫ് എഡിറ്ററും ആയി പരന്നുകിടക്കുന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സാഹിത്യ സാംസ്കാരിക സംഭാവനകൾ വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെട്ടു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ലണ്ടൻ സന്ദർശനത്തെപ്പറ്റി മണമ്പൂർ സുരേഷും, ശശി കുളമടയും സംസാരിച്ചു. എം ടി യുടെ സാമൂഹിക ജീവിതത്തെപ്പറ്റി മുരളീ മുകുന്ദനും, അക്ഷരങ്ങൾ എന്ന സിനിമയെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സാഹിത്യ-ജീവിത വീക്ഷണങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി മണമ്പൂർ സുരേഷും സംസാരിച്ചു. ശ്രീജിത്ത് ശ്രീധരൻ സ്വാഗതവും, അനിൽ ഇടവന കൃതജ്ഞതയും പറഞ്ഞ ചടങ്ങിൽ പ്രിയവ്രതൻ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു.
A tribute was paid to M. T. Vasudevan Nair, who enriched the Malayalam language with his evergreen creations, at an event organized at Kerala House on January 5, 2025. Excerpts from his various works were read by Siji, Mithun Patel, and Sudha Das. Passages from M.T.’s only play, "Gopuranadayil," were read by Sasi Kulamada. His extensive contributions to literature and culture—as a short story writer, novelist, screenwriter, film director, and Chief Editor of the Mathrubhumi weekly—were evaluated and discussed.
Manampoor Suresh and Sasi Kulamada spoke about his visit to London, while Muralee Mukundan discussed his social life. Manampoor Suresh also elaborated on his literary and life perspectives based on the film "Aksharangal."
The event was presided over by Priyavratan, with Sreejith Sreedharan delivering the welcome address and Anil Edavana expressing gratitude.
