April edition of ‘Kattan Kaappiyum Kavithayum’ gathering was successfully conducted on Friday 13th April 2012 at Kerala House in the presence of drama and literature enthusiasts. This month's theme was the life and works of ‘N N Pillai’, one of the stalwarts of Malayalam Drama realm who during his lifetime successfully donned the cap of actor, playwright, director and orator. His popular plays include Kapalika, Prethalokam, Gorilla, Kanakku Chembakaraman and Easwaran Arastil. The gathering discussed the life of N N Pillai and his contributions to Malayalam Drama. Sasi S Kulamada, an acclaimed Malayalam Drama Director in the UK, presented NN Pillai's Autobiography 'Njan' and his other popular work 'Natakadarpanam'.
